Archaeological site of El Tajín
It is the main pre-Hispanic city of Veracruz and one of the most important in ancient Mexico. In 1992 it was recognized as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The inhabitants take up their Sacred City as a living entity, since the archaeological site has been put in value with all its historical, symbolic mystical connotations and daily bond.

It is a symbol of identity for the practicing communities, an example of the wisdom that lives in the soul of the indigenous populations and living heritage whose practice is permanent. It was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in 2009. It is an identity stamp of the Totonaca culture worldwide.

This institution shares all the knowledge of the Totonaca civilization through its Tradition School Houses. Establishing unique cultural dialogues and protecting the millennial practices Totonacas, it was included in the List of Best Practices for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in 2012.
